The Windsor Police Pipe Band is a non-profit organization based in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1967, the band has grown substantially within the past decade. With a current competition roster of over seventy-five players, the Windsor Police Pipe Band is one of the largest piping and drumming organizations in Canada, and the world. The band wears the Red Gordon tartan in honor of then Chief Gordon Preston.

Players are divided, based on playing ability, into two separate bands in Grades 1 and 4. (Grade 1 being the highest and Grade 4 the lowest). Each band performs at a high standard and is consistently a contender for top prizes in their respective grades. As a community service, piping and drumming lessons are offered weekly.

The Grade 1 Band, the Grade 4 Band and the combined Band can be seen performing at numerous parades, concerts, ceilighs and contests throughout the year in the US, Canada and abroad. The Band also hosts an annual fall concert, "Piping Under the Stars", and a summer concert, "Celtic Generations".

The Windsor Police Pipe Band was awarded Grade 2 North American Pipe Band Champions in 2002, 2003 and 2005, four-top five distinctions at the World Pipe Band Championships in Grade 2 from 2002-2005, Grade 2 Ontario Champion Supreme for 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005, 2002 Canadian Champions and 2002, 2004 and 2005 U.S. Open Champions. Lastly, the band was undefeated in all North American competitions during 2002 and 2005.

In the fall of 2005, the Windsor Police Grade 2 band was unanimously voted by the music board of the Pipers & Pipe Band Society of Ontario to be upgraded to grade 1. The Pipe Major is James Stewart and the Lead Drummer is Carl Lenny. The pipe band is comprised of a wealth of widespread talent from all over the U.S. Midwest, Ontario and Scotland.
